Zambezia pays homage to the home of the original tea plant, Camellia sinensis. All true teas—white, green, oolong, and black—come from this single remarkable plant. The differences in flavor and color arise from how and when the leaves are harvested and processed. White tea is minimally processed and picked when the leaves are young and tender, while green tea undergoes light steaming or pan-firing to preserve its vibrant color. Oolong tea is semi-oxidized, and black tea is fully oxidized, resulting in its characteristic boldness.
